THE COLUMBUS ARTS FESTIVAL Artists travel from all over the country and pay big bucks to be the main attraction in this annual event whose primary function is to promote its corporate sponsors. 
COLUMBUS PRIDE CELEBRATION 
COMFEST (Columbus Community Festival) This is the best 3 day festival anywhere! Three stages feature live music (there is such a desire to play this event, bands have to sign up a year in advance...and they all play for free!) Artists, activist organizations and a great selection of food stalls & beer line the streets surrounding one of the city's most beautiful metroparks. COMFEST has been happening for almost thirty years and is unique in that it relys on NO corporate or government funding. Truly a "grass roots" extravaganza! 
DOO DAH PARADE July 4th...Goodale Park Gazebo heading west on Buttles Avenue; turning north on Neil Avenue; swinging east onto Second Avenue; then scurring down High Street to Russell.
